Sponsor Information

Last year Celebrate Bandera drew an estimated crowd of 25,000 to enjoy a family-oriented event full of the history and spirit of The Cowboy Capital of the World.  At Celebrate Bandera they experienced a turn-of-the-century cattle drive as they watched Longhorns making their way down Main Street. The parade, cattle drive, chuck wagons, The Bandera Cattle Company, Buffalo Soldiers, and the Intertribal PowWow are many of the exciting events that are returning for Celebrate Bandera 2016.  This year we also feature the National Professional Bull Riders Challenge.  Don't miss the Friday night Ranch Rodeo and the fast and furious Cowboy Mounted Shooters!  The whole Labor Day weekend is filled with Arts and Crafts, re-enactments, and our special Cowboy Church services. The best part is that most of the events are free!  There is plenty of music all weekend as local Bandera venues host the Kings of Western Swing dance series.

Celebrate Bandera, in 15 short years, has become one of the rising stars among Texas events.  We enjoy a great relationship with the media and have been featured in such magazines as True West, American Cowboy, Texas Highways, Southern Living, Country Living, Texas Hill Country, The Hill Country Current and the Hill Country Sun.   Celebrate Bandera has also been featured in a number of Texas newspapers, including The San Antonio Express-News, the Austin American Statesman, the Houston Chronicle, the Dallas Morning News, and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.  Other media coverage includes national and local television and radio.

            BUSINESS CAN BUY

In these tough economic times, it’s no secret people are traveling less and watching their pennies. Where are we going to find the 25,000 people who come to Bandera to spend their money during Labor Day weekend?  In that Golden Circle of Austin, Houston, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio. That’s where our advertising dollars will go.  People have not stopped driving; they just take shorter trips.  People have not stopped spending money for family entertainment; they carefully budget their entertainment dollars.  And Bandera is closer than the Grand Canyon and cheaper than Disney World.  Celebrate Bandera gives you the biggest bang for your tourist advertising dollars.

Dear Celebrate Bandera Sponsor:

In these tough economic times it’s good to know that you have an organization that is working to help you grow your bottom line while it raises money to help keep our local nonprofits fiscally sound.  Each year since 2002, when the Bandera Community Foundation organized the first Celebrate Bandera to raise money to rebuild homes destroyed in the July floods, the Foundation has brought together hundreds of volunteers to put on the biggest show in Bandera County—one that now attracts more than 20,000 visitors a year, earns enough money to award grants to local nonprofit organizations and to continue to build the Community Disaster Relief Fund, and provides an annual economic impact to Bandera County of more than $2,000,000.

Celebrate Bandera became a nationally recognized event in a very short period of time.  For the Eleventh year in a row American Cowboy Magazine has named Celebrate BanderaOne of the Top 101 Western Events in the Nation.”  True West, another national publication, has included Celebrate Bandera in their “Best of the West” list for the past SEVEN years.  The Celebrate Bandera team has developed a great relationship with the media.  Look for feature stories this year in a number of state and national publications about Bandera’s heritage and all the cowboys, longhorns, and family fun during this action-packed three day weekend.

But the real value of Celebrate Bandera is what it does for the community.  Here just one example:

Rick Janes, owner of the O.S.T, “We always have lines out the door! It is one of the most memorable events we have because it has entertainment and educational venues all over town. We love it!”

None of this would be possible without the continued support of our sponsors.  The success of Celebrate Bandera is a direct result of our sponsors’ generosity and community spirit.  Your Celebrate Bandera sponsorship is certainly that, but it is also a sound investment in your own business and the future of Bandera County.

Please give us a call about sponsorship opportunities.  Pick a level that fits your needs, or we can design a package just for you.  Please call our Event Coordinator, Genie Strickland, at 830-796-4447 for any additional information you need.
